Sweet Little "B" Man

I have said it a thousand times, but here it is again. The best part of my job is photographing little kids. I love it! Check out this little guy and tell me you don't melt into a thousand pieces. The huge brown eyes about did me in. The first picture is one of my most favorite pictures that I have ever taken. Would it be weird to frame it and put it in my house? :) The third picture I had to post because it made me laugh. I think this is how most kids feel towards the end of a one hour shoot with me trying to get them to laugh and look at the camera. Brandi and BJ I hope that you like them as much as I do. You guys have such a little doll face.

A "Farrer" Winter Day

The day after thanksgiving I got to meet up with my good friend Emily to do some family photos. The day actually turned out to be not too cold, until you get up in the canyon. It was a bit chilly for the little ones but they were such troopers and had big smiles despite the cold. I am happy with the pictures that we did get. I hope you like them Emily. Soccer Babe

Meet Hannah a rocking senior from Layton. Not only do I love Hannah's name but she is a soccer player as well. I always wanted to be a soccer player but wussed out. Hannah plays on her high school team and just received an award for being so awesome. I had a great time shooting pictures with her until my camera decided to crap out on me. Check out Anderson. He is an amazingly beautiful little dude. I was floored by this little guys features: big blue eyes, perfectly shaped little lips and a cute little nose. I know I always say this but I could have taken him home with me. The first picture kills me. I think I have pulled it up and looked at it 100 times. I hope you guys like some of my favorites.

It is senior time. And boy are our senior spotlights so cute (can I say cute about a senior?) Well I am going to anyway! Garen is such a doll. Dark hair green eyes, student body officer, soccer player and guitar player. Need I say more? He was really fun to work with and he brought his dad along, which I thought was totally awesome. I had a great night last week taking pictures with the Yeung family. Most of them spoke only chinese, so it was an hilarious to get them to go where I needed them to go. They also wanted to take "American" pictures, hence the photo by the cow. The Yeung's are a fun family and I wish them a safe trip back home.

Emily and her husband are straight from heaven. Seven kids! That's right, seven kids. And the best part is they are adorable well behaved kids. I am so impressed with the size of the Salisbury's hearts and the fact that they brought all of these children into their home. Finally someone choose Antelope Island for their photo shoot. How cool is this location? Mallory was a breeze to shoot and is very beautiful girl. We had to battle with some bugs towards the end of the shoot and they seemed to really like Mallory's mom but it still was a really cool place to take pictures. Here are some of my favorites.

Meet Jessica, a sassy but sweet senior from Woods Cross. She is head cheerleader and plays a mean game of tennis. Jessica is one of those full of energy kind of girls. The ones you want to hate but you can't because they are so sweet and awesome. Jessica was a blast to work with and everytime she smiles big she has the best dimple in her cheek. This week my sweet baby girl had her very first ballet recital. To say that I was excited would be the understatement of the year. She looked adorable and so girly in her little ballet getup. It made me weep and then get out my camera and take 2.5 million pictures of her. It is a good thing that this girl doesn't mind posing for me.

The time of year where families from far and wide get together to celebrate the holiday season. The Crawford family is spread out on seperate sides of the nation and so happend to be in town for Christmas. Thus, they decided to get family pictures taken while they were all together. I met this family right next to where their father works. Gus is an adorable guy with a charming accent, that immediately told me he hates pictures and he just hopes that he doesn't run into anyone he knows. Well as luck would have it, right in the middle of pictures a colleague of his strolled by. Well maybe next time we can shoot somewhere else :) Congrats Lisa and Gus on 25 years of marriage, I for one am impressed.

We live in a small world don't we? Last Friday while I was shooting a reception for this gorgeous couple; I found out that the father of the bride has a vacation house next to my parent's vacation house. What are the chances?? Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the Kindred family. They are blessed with one of the cutest little boys I have ever been around. He has eyelashes that go on for miles. Cutest family ever!

Last week the Thomas family braved the cold weather to meet me for family photos. This family is seriously the cutest family ever. The parents are beautiful, their little boy is gorgeous and their little girl is breathtakingly beautiful. She has the most beautiful skin I have ever seen. Her daddy calls her his hershey kiss. When we scheduled a "fall" family photo shoot with the Worsley's we had no idea it was going to snow two days before. It was so chilly up in the mountain and poor sammie was freezing cold. It was ok because she had an over the top cute coat to wear. Once her adorable coat was on she was much happier. If I had a cute pink coat like that I would be happy too!
